Special thanks to all the Redwings Hockey Alumni that came out to play in the 2017 Redwings Hockey Alumni Game. It was great to see and catch up with everyone and enjoy 2 hours of fast paced non-stop hockey.
Hope to see everyone again next year!
As we reflect on 2017 and look forward to 2018, Redwings Hockey is proud to share the results of our December Toys for Tots fundraising event.
As a result of the event, Redwings Hockey donated 6 large collection boxes full of toys and $275 collected during the event in support of the US Marines Toys for Tots initiative in their efforts to provide toys to less fortunate children during the holidays.
Special thank you to our friends and the families at Providence Catholic Hockey for joining us in support of this great cause during the December 16th games and event.
Redwings Hockey would like to wish everyone a safe holiday and happy new year!
See you at the rink in 2018!
I’m proud to announce the results of our Camp Kesem fundraising during our December events. Please see below from Luke Sammons, Benet Hockey Alumni and Chapter Director of the Washington University chapter of Camp Kesem.
“On behalf of Camp Kesem at Washington University in St. Louis, I am extremely humbled by the generosity of Benet Hockey. This year, the Redwings raised $1,280 to support children through and beyond their parents’ cancer. I’d like to extend my sincerest gratitude, as your contribution makes a fully-funded week of Kesem magic possible for 2 children next July. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and participated in this incredible fundraising effort. Your help doesn’t have to end here! Please feel free to spread the word about Camp Kesem or share our fundraising page with family and friends this holiday season! Benet Hockey’s support for Camp Kesem brings our organization one large step closer to helping the 5 million children affected by a parent’s cancer. Good luck and Go Redwings!” – Luke Sammons, Chapter President
