Congratulations to Redwings Will Sammons (Junior / Forward) and Jack Paras (Junior / Defense) on being named to the 2018 Team Illinois America’s Showcase team.
About America’s Showcase
America’s Showcase was developed to provide the nation’s premier high school players an opportunity to be scouted by high-level programs so those players may further their hockey careers in prep school, juniors, college, and beyond. With five days packed with over 50 competitive hockey games gives the scouts on-hand (and watching online) plenty of opportunities to recruit from the wealth of talent on the ice. The success of our event is ultimately measured by how many of those players are able to use America’s Showcase as a springboard to a successful future in the upper echelon of hockey programs in North America.

As we reflect on 2017 and look forward to 2018, Redwings Hockey is proud to share the results of our December Toys for Tots fundraising event.
As a result of the event, Redwings Hockey donated 6 large collection boxes full of toys and $275 collected during the event in support of the US Marines Toys for Tots initiative in their efforts to provide toys to less fortunate children during the holidays.
Special thank you to our friends and the families at Providence Catholic Hockey for joining us in support of this great cause during the December 16th games and event.
Redwings Hockey would like to wish everyone a safe holiday and happy new year!
See you at the rink in 2018!
